Laurieann Gibson, choreographer for Lady Gaga and formerly Diddy’s “Making the Band,” has scored a “docusoap” series at E! produced by Ryan Seacrest.
The show, “The Dance Scene” has received a series greenlight. Eight episodes of the half-hour show will follow Gibson as she trains and leads a team of ambitious assistant choreographers and dancers as they prepare to work with high-profile stars.
Toni Braxton and her family are about to keep it real! The R&B singer recently signed a deal for her very own reality television series on the WE (Women’s Entertainment) network. The show will be called Braxton Family Values and will feature Toni's sisters, singers Traci, Towanda, Trina and Tamar.
Braxton Family Values is scheduled to premiere in April.
Relatives found Teena Marie's body Sunday morning at her home. Relatives say Teena seemed fine yesterday, when she spent Christmas with her brother. Teena spoke at length yesterday with Lynn, who says Teena seemed "fine."
So far it's unclear what caused the singer's death but the Pasadena Police Department tells TMZ they do no suspect foul play. They say it looks like Teena died of natural causes. The L.A. County Coroner's Office will perform an autopsy.
Surrounded by senior military officials and members of Congress, President Barack Obama signed a landmark law ordering America’s armed services to allow gay men and women serve openly for the first time.
“For we are not a nation that says, ‘don’t ask, don’t tell,’” Obama told 500 guests at a signing ceremony at the Interior Department. “We are a nation that says, ‘Out of many, we are one.’”
