On July 4, former NFL quarterback, Steve McNair, who was murdered by his mistress, Sahel Kazemi, who also killed herself, left no will in the event of his death.

Mechelle McNair with son Trenton
McNair’s wife, Mechelle, has been named the administrator of his estate and named her two sons, Tyler and Trenton, as heirs.
The problem lies in the fact that McNair has two older sons, Steven Jr. and Steven O’Brian Koran, from a previous relationship, who were not named as heirs to McNair’s estate.
According to TMZ, Tennessee law mandates that Mechelle receive a third of the estate, while the remaining two-thirds be evenly divided between McNair’s heirs.
Reports indicate that Mechelle has questioned the paternity of the older boys, even though McNair was paying $500 per month in child support for one of them.
McNair’s agent may be hinting that a will actually exists, but it is still unclear whether one does, or what legal action may be taken regarding the estate.
