THE CHILDREN SHOULD ALWAYS COME FIRST. MOREOVER, YOU NEED TO MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIFE AND LET DWAYNE MOVE ON WITH HIS REGARDLESS OF WHO HE IS WITH. STOP THIS MESS WITH GABRIELLE, ITS NOT HEALTHY FOR THE CHILDREN. WHO KNOW THE NEXT WOMAN OR MAN MAY LOVE YOUR CHILDREN AS MUCH AS YOU BOTH DO AND THE CHILDREN WILL BE THE GREATEST WINNER WITH DOUBLE THE LOVE. I KNOW, BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN THERE AND NOW I REGARD MY DAUGHTER’S STEPMOTHER AS PART OF MY FAMILY AND WHEN I GO TO TEXAS TO VISIT MY FAMILY, I GO TO THEIR HOUSE, THAT I USE TO LIVE IN AND IT DOES’NT BOTHER ME. THEY MAKE SURE I HAVE MY CROWN ROYAL WHEN I COME TO TOWN, WE EAT TOGETHER AND BEFORE MY DAUGHTER BECAME AN ADULT, WE ALTERNATED HER SCHOOL TIME BETWEEN TEXAS AND CALIFORNIA. MY DAUGHTERR HAVE THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS AND I LOVE HER STEPMOM LIKE A SISTER, BECAUSE SHE LOVES MY DAUGHTER AND I COULD NOT HAVE PICKED A BETTER STEPMOM IF I HAD PICKED HER MYSELF. YOUR CHILDREN WILL APPRECIATE IT MORE ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY GET OLDER, BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT BE CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SPLIT OR AFRAID TO ENJOY THE OTHER PERSON BROUGHT INTO THEIR LIVES BY THE MOM OR THE DAD. IT’S A GREAT FEELING TO KNOW ANOTHER WOMAN OR MAN LOVES YOUR CHILD THE WAY THEY DESERVE TO BE. LET THE CHILDREN BE HAPPY. DO NOT BASH THEIR FATHER. THE CHILDREN LOVE THEIR FATHER AND WHEN THEY GET OLDER AND REALIZE THAT YOU OR THEIR DAD ARE THE REASON THEY CAN NOT BE JUST FUN LOVING CHILDREN BECAUSE OF THE ANIMOSITY BETWEEN THE TWO OF YOU, IT WILL CAUSE THEM TO BECOME MORE INTRAVERTED AND NOT GROW MENTALLY TO THEIR FULL POTENTIAL. CHILDREN ARE SO IMPRESSIONALBLE, DO NOT USE THEM AS PAWNS BECAUSE YOU BOTH WILL REGRET IT IN THE END.

I think Siohvaughn Wade gave a great interveiw, she did not bash him,she talked about the effect it has on the children,she did not set out to get him financially she wasn’t a groupie they were friends and dating before he became an NBA star that’s the diff, every woman is not a damn Golddigger!!!

It is wonderful at such a time as this finally someone is willing to openly admit through it all that when you forget God and remove yourself from His presence you can only move into the presence of the ememy. While in the presence of the enemy one should expect the worst. Once coming to that realization, we shall always remember that redemption is available, healing is available and restoration is available. Great job from a true mature sister.

An Exceptional, mature interview. A great lady! Gave the brother kidos as well as taking her lumps. Made major fact point of players only surrounding themselves with “Yes People” and not real friends to pull your coat-tails when they are going wrong in finances and trying to prove their sex lives.

IT’S ALWAYS TROUBLING TO SEE LOVE VANISH…HOWEVER, LOVE IS A STRONG EMOTION THAT FLOWS IN LIKE A TIGER AND UNFORTUNATELY IN TO MANY CASES FLOWS AWAY LEAVING SOME ISSUES AND/OR CONCERNS FOR ONE IF NOT BOTH PARTIES. THIS IS SIMPLY LIFE AS AN ADULT…NEVERTHELESS, IT’S WHEN CHILDREN COMES INTO THE EQUATION THAT IT BECOMES THE MOST DIFFICULT TO PROCESS THE BREAK-UP. WE KNOW THAT ADULTS WILL DO WHAT THEY NEED TO DO IN ORDER TO MOVE ON EVENTALLY(ITS A PROCESS)…I JUST HOPE THAT THEY SEE THAT THE CHILDREN ARE WELL TAKEN CARE OF(FINANCIALLY AS WELL AS EMOTIONALLY) AS THIS PROCESS PROCEED….IT’S ALL ABOUT THE CHILDREN NOW. I APPLAUDED SIOHVAUGHN FOR HER INTERVIEW AND I BELIEVE THAT DWYANE WILL CONTINUE TO BE A STAND-UP YOUNG BROTHER THAT I IMAGINE HE IS. SIOHVAUGHN INTERVIEW DID NOT STATE THAT HE ISN’T OR WASN’T ANYTHING ELSE…PLEASE MEDIA LET’S NOT TURN THIS INTO A MESSY TIGER WOODS THING…OK.

The article was very informative on every level. Although we’re looking through the lives of celeb’s from a lens perspective, but is the jet set lifestyle worth all the heart ache then not to mention the adding children to the mix. Not so cool they already have too much to deal with while in school.
Speaking from my personal experience it’s best to marry later in life this way you’re bringing less baggage into the marriage.

I think that it was very mature, honest, and commendable of her to examine herself and comment on her issues and errors. However, I do not think it was necessary to mention the child crying to the extent of having a friend comment on it in such detail; this made it seem more like an effort to blame Mr. Wade in some way, or for others to view him negatively, even if that was not the intent. If the focus is on the chidren, it might have been a good idea to self-sacrifice (which is what parents are to do by putting their children first) and remain in Miami close to the father, rather than relocate to Illinois. Especially, as such a point is made to elaborate on how the child misses his father. However, children are resilient, and are often emotionally and developmentally better off with a divorce than to remain in an intact family that is not working; that is, as long as both parents represent each other positively to the children and refrain from feuding and acrimony.
