Nas – “All I Want To Do Is Make Music & Raise My Kids…”

It looks like rapper Nas is finally catching a break. We previously reported that Nas was facing a contempt of court charge because he owed his ex wife Kelis$200,000 in backed child support for their son Knight. Well the contempt charge has been dropped because he recently paid the milk shake singer $50,000 in child support.

A spokesman for Nas confirmed to MTV that he was given some leeway in their court proceedings. The spokesman says that the charge was dismissed and that Kelis' attorney fees and spousal support payments have been taken care of.

NFL Star Divorces Wife Who Wouldn’t Abort Child

In the "You're An A**" files this week is NFL star Chris McAlister. McAlister is currently is in the midst of a heated divorce from his wife Marlene, who claims that her husband "kicked her out of their home when she refused to get an abortion," TMZ reported.

According to court documents filed Wednesday, Marlene McAlister claims that Chris has not contacted her since September 2009, when she was about four months pregnant with their daughter. She claims that she is "struggling finanically" as the former Baltimore Ravens cornerback has also stopped paying the court ordered spousal support and medical expenses.

Marlene is also filing for sole custody of their 2-month-old daughter.

Keri Hilson The New Face Of Avon’s Imari Fragrance

Singer/songwriter Keri Hilson is now the new face of Avon’s Imari fragrance. She is replacing singer/actress Jennifer Hudson.

Keri on being the new face of the fragrance:
“I’m really careful. I don’t want to be affiliated with too many brands. It’s got to make sense, and it makes sense [with Avon.] I love fragrance. I love beauty. I love to teach women that they should feel confident and feel good about themselves for themselves.”
