Will Smith recently opened to David Letterman up about the bizarre incident that occurred during the premiere of his film MIB3 in Moscow, Russia.

If you haven't already heard Will had to chin check a male reporter who attempted to kiss him on the lips while he walked the red carpet.

“It was just awkward,” Smith explained during his guest appearance on David Letterman on the Late Show Tuesday.

“He says, ‘I’m you’re biggest fan, can I have a hug?’” Smith recalled. “So I go to give this joker a hug, and he tries to lean in and kiss me!”

Smith said the reporter’s team later reached out to his camp to offer an apology. “They were like, ‘Oh, no, we’re sorry, you know. It’s just his shtick, you know.’”

At least now this reporter knows that this kind of behavior will get his ass chin checked. Keep it all the way funky Will
