Omar Gooding, brother of Academy Award winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr. is set to make his triumphant return to acting in his new sitcom "Family Time" airing on Bounce TV.  Gooding is set to play the patriarch of the Stallworth family who along with his wife, played by Angell Conwell are two working class people whose life is completely turned upside down after winning the lottery.

Gooding is no stranger to the Hollywood small screen, having appeared in more than a dozen TV shows that have included Hanging With Mr Cooper and Smart Guy to Playmakers, Grey’s Anatomy and CSI . On the big screen he has Baby Boy and The Gospel to his credit.

Although he has been absent from the screen for more than 2 years it has not been because of a lack of offers. Knowing how much his fans enjoy his work Omar is careful about the roles he accepts and how he is portrayed.

“It is important that we as actors portray characters that are not just stereotypical. Just like there are thugs and gangsters in our society, there are also loving families and positive images. “Family Time” showcases those positive images”

Family Time debuts on Bounce TV on June 18th and was created by Bentley Kyle Evans (The Jamie Foxx Show and Martin).
