Will Smith recently opened to David Letterman up about the bizarre incident that occurred during the premiere of his film MIB3 in Moscow, Russia.

If you haven't already heard Will had to chin check a male reporter who attempted to kiss him on the lips while he walked the red carpet.

“It was just awkward,” Smith explained during his guest appearance on David Letterman on the Late Show Tuesday.

“He says, ‘I’m you’re biggest fan, can I have a hug?’” Smith recalled. “So I go to give this joker a hug, and he tries to lean in and kiss me!”

Smith said the reporter’s team later reached out to his camp to offer an apology. “They were like, ‘Oh, no, we’re sorry, you know. It’s just his shtick, you know.’”

At least now this reporter knows that this kind of behavior will get his ass chin checked. Keep it all the way funky Will

After a long and private battle with lung cancer, 5 time Grammy winner and the Queen of Disco Donna Summer has passed away at age 63.

Summer passed away in Florida where weeks ago she was seen in good spirits.  Summer was in the process of finishing up on her latest album at the time of her passing.

Donna’s ruled over the disco scene with  hits like “Last Dance,” “Bad Girl” and “She Works Hard For The Money.”

She married Brooklyn Dreams singer Bruce Sudano back in the 80's had two daughters.

LisaRaye McCoy is finally ready to open up on what really went down between her and Stacey  Dash...and Stacey's departure from their hit VH1 show "Single Ladies."   During a interview with JET Magazine, she dishes on the real reason why Stacey left the show and admits to some behind the scenes catfighting that ensued after a late night of filming.  And why she ended her longtime friendship with former castmate Duane Martin... On moving on without Stacey Dash who played her best friend on the show:

Believe me I wish things had worked out because I thought Stacey and I were great together. She was my age and we were working it. It was sex-symbol to sex-symbol. But she didn't want to be there. I was disappointed about that. She had some issues. I'm not sure exactly what those issues were. In the end, she and VH1 made a decision.

On the catfights that really went down on set

Yes, there was a disagreement over a scene. And it really wasn't with me. It was with the director. I think it was about 2 or 3AM and we'd been shooting all damn day. Stacey tried to argue with the director about a line. And I'm like: "Girl, if you don't say what the director wants you to say." It wasn't that serious at first, but it went there.

It's a bunch of women on the set. We might all be on our damn period at any given point. I just wanted us to move forward. Then the argument took on a life of its own. The show decided to use it for publicity. They just ran with it.

On which Hollywood friend she had to dump

Duane Martin. I introduced him to my ex-husband [former Turks & Caicos Premier Michael Misick], he got buddy-buddy with him and then turned against me. Just recently, this fool Duane up and sold a building he and I bought awhile ago in Los Angeles, without asking...I don't care if we're not friends, just don't try to f**k me in the interim.

When I heard about him in the middle of Will & Jada's divorce rumors, I tweeted: sounds familiar. He really aint got enough business.

Last night on Basketball Wives Tami Roman aka Suge Knight  went all the way crazy when she verbally attacked co-star Kesha Nichols.  The verbal tongue lashing went way beyond extreme and now that Tami has had some time to think about her actions she of course took to Twitter to set the record straight.

Really Tami so now you're sorry.   You reduced a grown ass woman to tears and had her beg you to give her back her own purse.  Who do you think you are? Does it make you happy to make others miserable?  We all heard your story of being abused and having a rough life but that shit happens sometimes.  I'm sorry you were hurt in the past, but that doesn't mean you have a free pass to spread your pain to others.  I hope that this will be a turning point for you. You really need to get some closure and move forward with your life.

Junior Seau

Police near San Diego responded to reports of a shooting Wednesday at the home of former NFL star Junior Seau, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.

TMZ, citing multiple law enforcement sources, reported that Seau was found dead inside the home.

Law enforcement sources now tell us ... Seau died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest. 

The 12-time Pro Bowl linebacker, aged 43, played for the San Diego Chargers, Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots from 1990-2009.

In October 2010, Seau denied rumors that he was trying to commit suicide after driving his SUV off a cliff in Carlsbad, CA.

Laurieann Gibson

Laurieann Gibson, choreographer for Lady Gaga and formerly Diddy’s “Making the Band,” has scored a “docusoap” series at E! produced by Ryan Seacrest.

The show, “The Dance Scene” has received a series greenlight. Eight episodes of the half-hour show will follow Gibson as she trains and leads a team of ambitious assistant choreographers and dancers as they prepare to work with high-profile stars.

“The competitive world of the professional dancer is grueling creative work,” says Lisa Berger, executive vice president of programming at E! “Watching Laurieann mentor these young artists, who will do anything to make it in the business, gives us a glimpse into a world where the pursuit of success and excellence outweighs all else.”

“Dance is at the center of pop culture — today more than ever — and Laurieann is an amazing force accelerating this huge wave of creativity,” Seacrest says. “This series gives audiences an insider’s view of how competitive the dance world is, the talent and ambition that a dancer needs to be successful in the Hollywood scene, and the drama that ensues along the way.”

The series debuts April 10.

Braxton Family Values

Toni Braxton and her family are about to keep it real! The R&B singer recently signed a deal for her very own reality television series on the WE (Women’s Entertainment) network. The show will be called Braxton Family Values and will feature Toni's sisters, singers Traci, Towanda, Trina and Tamar.

Braxton Family Values is scheduled to premiere in April.

Tina Marie

Relatives found Teena Marie's  body Sunday morning at her home. Relatives say Teena seemed fine yesterday, when she spent Christmas with her brother. Teena spoke at length yesterday with Lynn, who says Teena seemed "fine."

So far it's unclear what caused the singer's death but the Pasadena Police Department tells TMZ they do no suspect foul play. They say it looks like Teena died of natural causes. The L.A. County Coroner's Office will perform an autopsy.

We're told Teena had a seizure a month ago, but it's unclear what triggered it.

Marie was nominated for a Grammy four times ... her first top ten hit was "I'm Just a Sucker for Your Love."

President Barack Obama signs the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell Repeal Act of 2010

Surrounded by senior military officials and members of Congress, President Barack Obama signed a landmark law ordering America’s armed services to allow gay men and women serve openly for the first time.

“For we are not a nation that says, ‘don’t ask, don’t tell,’” Obama told 500 guests at a signing ceremony at the Interior Department. “We are a nation that says, ‘Out of many, we are one.’”

As they applauded his arrival, Obama told them he was “overwhelmed” and that it was a “very good day.” He thanked the lawmakers who worked on the legislation but saved his warmest praise for the leaders of the Pentagon and the troops themselves.

“History will remember well the courage and vision of Secretary Gates, of Admiral Mike Mullen, who spoke from the heart and said what he believed was right,” Obama said.

The change won’t be immediate, however. The bill requires the military service chiefs to complete implementation plans before lifting the old “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy — and certify to lawmakers that it won’t damage combat readiness, as critics charge.

But Obama promises, “We are not going to be dragging our feet to get this done.” He said that years from now, people will wonder “why was there ever a source of controversy in the first place.”

Gay troops fought at Gettysburg and at Iwo Jima, Obama said. “Their names are etched into the walls of our memorials. Their headstones dot the grounds at Arlington,” he says. “So as the first generation serving openly in our armed forces, you will stand for all those who came before you. You will serve as role models for all who come in. I know you will fulfill this responsibility with integrity and honor, just as you have every other mission.”

Obama added: “Your country needs you. Your country wants you. And we will be honored to welcome you into the ranks of the finest military the world has ever known.”

When he visited Afghanistan a few weeks ago, Obama recalled, a woman grabbed him in a rope line and whispered to him, “Get ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ done.” He said he told her, “I promise you, I will.”

“For we are not a nation that says, ‘don’t ask, don’t tell,’ ” he said. “We are a nation that says, ‘Out of many, we are one.’ We are a nation that welcomes the service of every patriot. … It is my honor to sign this bill into law.”
