Are Chris Paul and Dwight Howard headed to the Westside?  That's the big question as sports outlets are all a buzz with the news that the L.A. Lakers are gearing up to make a power play to trade 3 of their stars - Lamar Odom, Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol in order to bring Chris and Dwight to sunny California. 

The thought of Chris and Dwight going to the Lakers with Kobe Bryant does sounds interesting but we've seen this sorted dream team already and it doesn't work.  Can you say Miami Heat Big 3 deal of last year which was more like a big flop.  

But the two biggest questions on everyone's minds are, what will Khloe Kardashian do when Lamar gets traded? and How in the hell are we going to keep Kim Kardashian's groupie ass away from Dwight?  I know the E! network and Mama Kris cooking up something as we speak.

Reality show star Gloria Govan is handling her recent split from Lakers star Matt Barnes pretty well.  The former couples relationship plays out on television every week on VH1’s “Basketball Wives: LA.”

But it’s not getting her down, in fact, she says life is good.

“I’m happy with where I am now,” she told VH1.

Her announcement of the split came on Tuesday after the couple has been together for years, produced two children together, and making the move to Los Angeles.

“It hasn’t been an easy ride moving across the country twice, having kids at 21 when I just graduated college; it hasn’t been easy,” Gloria said, adding that the pressure of the NBA lockout has also been a huge stress on her former fiancé. “But we’re still friends and we’re still working things out and I wish him nothing but the best.”

Gloria isn’t planning to date anyone any time soon. She’s just taking the time to refocus and get things back in order.

Vivica A. Fox got the best Christmas gift ever. Yes, Vivica got engaged to her 27-year-old boyfriend, Omar ‘Slim’ White over the holidays.

A source told the NY Post that White proposed to Fox, 46, on Dec. 26 with an 8-karat diamond ring while the two were staying at the Ritz Carlton in South Beach.

Fox and White, who’ve been dating for just over a year, spent New Year’s Eve with Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union and Sanaa Lathan at a Chris Bosh bash.

Fox’s rep confirmed the engagement and it mark her second marriage (to a man younger than her).

NeNe Leakes has taken to Twitter to deny reports that she is pregnant.

After rumors surfaced across the blogosphere, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” standout tweeted Tuesday: “Pregnant? I’ve said it b4 & I’ll say it again…I won’t be having a child with no man. Shop is closed! Wrong housewife.”

“I’m having a lot of things, but having a baby will never be,” she added.

According to Essence.com, more rumors surfaced last week that NeNe is also about to become a grandmother, as her son Bryson was said to have gotten his girlfriend pregnant…and NeNe was none to happy about it. NeNe has also denied these rumors.

Hello everyone!

I can’t believe that another year has gone by so quickly. When I was a teenager, I was in such a hurry to grow up. I can remember the adults in my life telling me how quickly times goes by. Now I get it!

The older we get, the faster the years pass. So I constantly try to remind myself to take time to enjoy life, because tomorrow is not promised. This is a great time of year to reflect on the past 12 months, set goals for the next 12 months, and enjoy time with your family.

Speaking of my growing family…I am so excited and pleased to announce that I am having a girl! Her name will be Sydney J. Conway.

I’ve even started buying little outfits for her when I spy them in the sale section. However, exerting self-control at the sale rack is like trying to exert self-control around all of the cookies, cakes, gift baskets and sweets that seem to be everywhere right now! But I fight the urge as much as I can. To help maintain my self-control, I allow myself a “cheat day” on Saturdays when I can eat whatever I want. I’m not talking about a nibble of this or that, but literally whatever I want. I love Saturdays!

Well, I would like to wish everyone a happy holiday season. Enjoy yourself, be safe and spread as much love as possible this holiday season!

According to the New York Post’s Page Six, the Knicks power forward left Madison Square Garden with Rose after the game and partied with her at Midtown lounge Covet before leaving together at 2 a.m.

Sources told Page Six that Rose and Stoudemire arrived at Covet with two friends around 12:30 a.m. “He had his arm around her shoulders when they walked in,” reported a spy. Amar’e and Amber sat very close to one another at a table with two friends of Rose’s.

Rose attended the game with a friend and taped a viral video Tuesday night to encourage fans to vote Stoudemire to the NBA All-Star team.

Ja Rule

He’s due back in court for sentencing in February, but NYC rapper Ja Rule has reportedly struck a plea deal with prosecutors that will see him do two years in prison after pleading guilty in his gun case, reports MTV.

The charges stem from a gun bust in July 2007, when both Ja and Lil Wayne were arrested separately following a concert performance.

The Murder Inc. star pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon, a class D felony in the second degree.

“Minor setback for a major comeback,” Ja tweeted after reaching the deal.

Ja Rule is expected to be sentenced in February, following a court appearance that same month to report his progress to the judge.

Following the news that his latest single “F*** You” received a Grammy nomination for record of the year, Cee-Lo Green has announced that he has become a grandfather – at age 35.

The singer revealed that his 20-year-old daughter Sierra recently gave birth to a baby boy.

“I’m a grandfather. I’m 35. She had a son so I have a grandson,” he told talk show host Chelsea Handler.

The Grammy nominee also spoke of Sierra’s previous appearance on MTV’s “My Super Sweet 16,” admitting that the program makers had to bend the rules for her edition.

“She was actually turning 15 on that show,” he confessed. “MTV took a liking to her and they allowed her to be an exception for this show.”

Days after Rihanna grabbed her around the butt pads while hugging her in concert, the rapper was not only stroked by Regis Philbin following her performance of “Right Through Me” on Monday’s “Live with Regis and Kelly,” but he patted her butt as well, leaving Kelly Ripa and the audience in shock.

“Regis! What just happened?” said Kelly, seemingly appalled.

Afterward, Minaj tweeted the following: “LOL. I was in shock!” she tweeted in response to a follower that asked her, “What went thru your mind when Regis had slapped ya? That was epic!”

In addition to getting handsy with the rap star, Regis also flirted verbally after Minaj told Philbin of the advice she got from her friend Lil Wayne. “Wayne tells me to go hard,” said Minaj.

“Go hard?” asks Philbin. “I wish I could.”
