Rapper/actor 50 Cent has reportedly received $200 million in funding for his film company Cheetah Vision.

According to Variety, rapper and producer Randall Emmett, who launched the venture with 50 Cent last year, negotiated the multi-million dollar sum for a 10-picture deal, backed by George Furla’s Hedge Fund Film Partners.

The cash injection will enable Cheetah Vision to produce roughly five films a year, with a budget of about $20 million, reports Variety.

Fitty, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, has already begun production on his first film as part of the deal – he’s set to start shooting heist movie “Set Up” next month. “The thing about 50 Cent is that, just like in his music career, he isn’t someone who sits around and waits for things to get done. He came to me and said, ‘How do we move quicker on projects?’ With this new fund, we are able to do that,” his producing partner Emmett tells Variety.

Thursday night marked the beginning of the four-date Home And Home tour featuring Eminem and Jay-Z performing in their respective hometowns of Detroit and New York.

Eminem’s Comerica Park was up first, with the rapper turning in “an exhaustive, guest-filled 100-minute performance that spanned his entire recording career with full or partial performances of 33 songs.

Some 42,000 fans screamed as Slim Shady took the stage yelling, “Goddamn it, Detroit, I’m back, man. Did you miss me, or what?”

B.o.B., who opened the evening with his own half-hour set, recreated “Airplanes Pt. II,” though Eminem band singer Liz Rodrigues subbed for Paramore’s Hayley Williams – as she also did for Rihanna on “Love the Way You Lie” and Dido on “Stan.”

Drake showed up for a version of his hit, “Forever,” proclaiming it an “honor” to perform with “the legend that is Eminem.” 50 Cent joined Eminem for “Patiently Waiting,” then gave the star a break while he performed “I Get Money” and “In Da Club” with G-Unit cohort Lloyd Banks.

Dr. Dre came on stage for “Still Dre” and “Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang,” with Eminem taking up Snoop Dogg’s parts. When Eminem led the crowd in chanting for Dre’s long-awaited “Detox” album, the producer – who sported a Proof T-shirt – promised, “I’m comin’!”

Jay-Z opened the show 30 minutes earlier, pausing for a moment after taking the stage and telling the show’s directors to turn up the house lights so he could soak up the moment.

“This is hip-hop music,” he said, “and this is how far we’ve come.”

His two shows at Yankee Stadium are scheduled for Sept. 13 and 14.

Jay-z began his set to a blast of lights and squalling rock, alone at center stage to rap the intro from album “The Dynasty.” From there it was a fast-paced and at times poignant set of hits and medleys that led to a closing climax of “Empire State of Mind” and “Numb.”

Backed by a tight live band, Jay welcomed guests Young Jeezy and Memphis Bleek and paid tribute to fallen stars, including Detroit’s Proof and Aaliyah.

If you haven't seen Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson in a while then you will not recognize him now. 50 recently lost 54 pounds for an upcoming film role.

According to reports, the star lost an amazing 54 pounds for his upcoming movie “Things Fall Apart”.

In the movie 50 Cent plays a football player diagnosed with cancer. He dropped from 214 pounds to an astonishing 160 with a liquid diet and three-hour-a-day treadmill walks for nine weeks.

“I was starving.” Now he’s back on tour and says, “I’ve been eating. I’ll be back in shape in no time!”

Did anyone see Vivica Fox crying over 50 Cent on the Mo'Nique show last night? Wow, we didn't realize how sprung she was over 50!  When asked about their relationship she said:

When I dated “Curtis”, I met him as “Curtis” he just happened to be a rap star. We went out too fast, we were very excited about each other and wanted to scream at the top of our lungs “I’m in Love”. Then people got in his ear and we unfortunately broke up. Then there was albums and songs and statements that I will say a young man made but now he has grown up….and he came to me as a man and said “I’m sorry”..and I forgave him. That was hard. And I was so glad I had a wonderful family, especially my daddy who said “He didn’t make you and he sure ain’t gonna break you”.
