For those of us who are tried of watching one reality show after another, here's something new coming to a tv set near you. LisaRaye McCoy and Stacey Dash are set to return to TV next summer as "Single Ladies," a new one hour scripted series produced by Queen Latifah and VH1.

VH1 will debut an hour-long series called "Single Ladies," starring Stacey Dash, LisaRaye McCoy, Charity Shea, and DB Woodside.

"Single Ladies" is set in the world of Atlanta "fashion", music, and "celebrity" that will constantly explore how women approach relationships. The show's debut will be preceded by a movie of the same name shot earlier this year.

The series itself begins production in late 2010 and both will premiere in July 2011. Executive producer, Queen Latifah, will make a guest appearance in the series.

"My partner Shakim and I are excited to collaborate with VH1, as they have a similar vision on how to bring this show to life. I think "Single Ladies" will really fill a hole in what is needed on television today,” says Queen Latifah.

Sounds like an interesting show. I'm just happy it's not another series about desperate women competing to date a rapper or a baller.

Matt & Gloria

Matt Barnes and Gloria Govan are now speaking out about their now canceled wedding as well as why they decided to join the next season of “Basketball Wives”.

The couple was interviewed by VIBE Magazine and here’s what they had to say:

VIBE: The word went from the wedding being cancelled to you guys breaking up. What happened?

Gloria Govan: I think because we postponed the wedding, people just took it and ran with that and started challenging each other to see who can come up with the most ridiculous story. I think that’s how it started. I know Matt had let his groomsmen know as I had let a lot of my family members know that we were postponing the wedding, via text message and I think that also sparked a lot of our—one of Matt’s old teammate’s wedding that we were also suppose to be attending [but didn’t]—I think that also sparked a lot of the rumors that got out.

Why did you decide to postpone it?

Gloria: Matt and I feel like marriage is something that should not be rushed into. It wasn’t any outside party. We’re committed and dedicated to working on our relationship and we’re still together but again, we felt like this wasn’t something that was in our hearts at the time. Marriage is something that is definitely our goal but again, we’re not rushing into something that we just feel like isn’t right for us at the time so we’re just taking the time to work on our family.

What’s your response to the rumors about your break up and alleged infidelity?

Matt: That’s something we set ourselves up for. We opened our family life up to the world, doing this TV show and we’ve always seen it from afar with celebrities going through their stuff and troubles where everything is well documented. And I know from being in professional sports for a while that a lot you see and hear is not true. Gloria heard everything—just crazy stuff—but we know what’s going on and our family knows what’s going on so that’s what’s most important.

Matt also addressed putting the other wives on blast via Twitter saying:

Personally, I would have liked to talk to Shaunie on the phone but I never got her number, I never got that opportunity. Maybe me going on Twitter saying stuff was a little out of pocket but at the time, it was the only way for me to reach her. But if we cross paths and me and Shaunie sit down and talk, that would be great.

Despite all the tension between Gloria and the other wives, the couple will appear on the second season of the show, although the only person Gloria agreed to tape with is Suzie Ketchum. Matt has left the Orlando Magic and joined the Los Angeles Lakers, so their role on the show will primarily focus on their move.

Why the decision to join season two after being so vocal about not coming back?

Matt: I just think there was a lot of negative but a lot of positive came from it too. Gloria and I sat down and talked and we decided we gotta use the show the way they’re trying to use us. A lot of doors have opened up for her in opportunities that she would like to pursue for a career and a few things have opened up for me as well and with us moving back to LA even more doors are gonna be opened. So we feel that we can use the show the way they’re going to try to use us to get into our lives and our family.

Singer Ray Lavender is currently on the TV Series Donald Trump's The Ultimate Merger in which supposedly single men all compete to win the heart of reality diva, Omarosa. Well the word is that Ray is in a very committed relationship with popular urban model & socialite Soncerae "The Ultra Model".

Ray & Soncerae have been rumored to have been on and off lovers for 3 yrs (above is a pic of the happy couple taken  last year at one of Ray's photoshoots for Konvict Clothing). Rumor has it that Ray Lavender wins out of the 12 bachelors that are competing for Omarosa's love.

Sources also say that The Ultimate Merger is just a publicity stunt to boost Ray Lavender's dormant career. Attached are images of Soncerae "The Ultra Model" with other Atlanta Celebs. Shaunie O'neal is my girl so I have to rep as she goes hard on wanna be's Matt Barne & Gloria Govan from Baskeball Wives.  Shaunie recently called into “The Morning After With Angela Yee” to promote the “Basketball Wives” Reunion show, which airs this Sunday (June 20th) on VH1. She also discussed the upcoming second season which includes several changes. The new show will be an hour instead of half hour and there’s 12 episodes instead of 8. There are also some changes in the cast, and as guessed it— Gloria Govan a$$ will not be back.

Shaunie reveals that Gloria was actually cast for the show before the affair with her sister, Laura Govan, and Shaq came out in the open, and Shaunie admits that she tried to get her off the show once she found out, but the contracts were signed already. Shaunie calls it “therapeutic” addressing that situation with Gloria’s sister on the show, but says it would have been “therapeutic a little bit more if I could have put my hands on her.” HILARIOUS!!! Shaunie also says that while Shaq initially tried to have the show shut down, he’s fine with it now.

Shaunie also discussed her new boyfriend Marlon Yates, and addresses the rumors that Shaq was talking ish to her son.

Another interesting part of the interview happens when she gets to talkin’ about Matt Barnes and basically plays the sh*t out of him by saying:

“I think he got his little 5 minutes of shine just being part of the show to be honest. From what I hear most people didn’t know his name before the show.”

Shaunie also addresses the issue of dealing with groupies, but she denies ever stepping out on Shaq. She claims she never cheated and spent 85% of her time with her kids, and the rest at the arena supporting Shaq.

“Basketball Wives” fans should also be excited to hear that Shaunie is currently casting for her new show “Football Wives”

The Norwoods

The Norwood family is back for a second season with their VHI’s hit show, “Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business.” A month before the season finale, which is to air June 27 at 9 p.m., the show that gives fans an inside look at the entertainment was confirmed to continue.

The Norwoods aren’t alone as VH1 renews love finding series, “What Chili Wants" show for its second season. While the world anxiously awaits to see if the TLC singer finds love by Sunday, the show will be back for a new round of men.

According to VHI, in the season finale, the Norwoods will “take a break from work for a family reunion in Mississippi. And unfortunately, Sonja and Willie’s relationship may have reached the breaking point. See if the family and the business survive on the finale.”

In "What Chilli Wants" after a search that first seemed unproductive, Chilli faces a choice between two great contenders. Will one of these men be a part of her story as she rolls into the second?” VH1 reports.

The final episode of season one will premier on Sunday, May 30 at 10:30 p.m.

LaLa and Carmelo are getting reality ready for their very own VH1 reality show. The show will focus on their upcoming July wedding in a five-part series including all the planning and festivities leading up to and including their big day.

The show will premiere on Monday, September 13 and consist of four half-hour episodes plus a 90-minute wedding finale.

Shaquille O'Neal is telling VH1 and ex-wife Shaunie O'Neal to keep it shut.  Shaq wants to make sure that Shaunie doesn't use her new reality show as "televised revenge" as a way to Shaq bash.

According to TMZ, Shaq's lawyer has fired off a letter to the network in which he demands VH1 immediately halt production on "any further episodes of 'Basketball Wives' which make any reference to Mr. O'Neal."

Shaq's lawyer claims Shaunie signed a confidentiality agreement during their relationship and so she is bound to keep her mouth shut, if no,t she and the production company will find themselves in a courtroom.

The crazy thing is that episodes of the show have already been taped with show #2 reportedly featuring a scene centered around Shaunie's relationship with Shaq. At this time it's unclear whether or not the next episode will make air.
