While working the press circuit for his upcoming greatest hits release and new book “Decoded,” Jay-Z has been asked to comment on a variety of topics – including President Obama, the legal woes of Lil Wayne, his friend Kanye West and his infamous comment regarding President George Bush.
“It was bad timing, but it was absolutely an honest emotion,” he told Howard Stern Monday of West’s statement that George W. Bush “doesn’t care about black people.”
Continues Jay-Z, “We all felt like that. We didn’t feel like Katrina was a natural disaster. We felt like it was an attack on black people.”
Howard’s sidekick Robin Quivers asked what he thought about pregnancy rumors surrounding his wife Beyonce that seem to pop up at least once a month.
“I really sit back and wonder when people are going to stop. The day that happens, I don’t think Newsday is going to know before my grandmother.”

T.I. Back Behind Bars

The self proclaimed King of the South, T.I. has checked back into prison. The ATL rapper officially reported to Forrest City (Arkansas) prison on Monday to begin his 11-month sentence for being caught with ecstasy in September.
According to TMZ, T.I. will go through the process just like all other inmates. He will be known as inmate #59458-019 and wear the uniform khaki pants and shirt with black shoes.

Rapper T.I. had his probation revoked by a federal judge today and was sentenced to 11 months in prison.
T.I. was busted last month on felony possession of a controlled substance ... while he was on probation for a 2009 federal gun possession conviction.
A contrite T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., asked the court for leniency.
“I screwed up,” said the rapper, wearing a three-piece gray suit. “I screwed up bigtime, and I’m sorry. I’m truly and sincerely sorry. I don’t want and I don’t need to use drugs anymore. I want them out of my life.”
He has two weeks to turn himself in.

Rapper T.I. is back in Atlanta and wasted no time getting back on stage to do his thing on the mic.
According to MTV, the star of the box office hit “Takers” was at an Atlanta nightclub on Friday and performed an enthusiastic set that included a fierce rendition of “Motivation” from his third album, “Urban Legend.”
